Ring Exchange

Wedding rings signify to the world that you have made vows and promises to someone special.  The exchange of wedding rings usually takes place following the vow exchange.  Your wedding officiant will first explain the symbolism and meaning of the exchanging of rings.  Below are examples of phrases you can say when exchanging your rings.  Choose from below or write your own.  You will repeat this phrase after your officiant as you slide the ring on your partner's finger.

1.  I give you this ring as a symbol of my love and faithfulness. As I place it on your finger, I commit my heart and soul to you. I ask you to wear this ring as a reminder of the vows we have spoken today, our wedding day.
