ABOUT A DIVINE AFFAIR
A Divine Affair is a premier Niagara based Wedding Planning, Design & Coordination Company. Jennie started A Divine Affair in May of 2011 and it is currently the longest operating Full-Time Wedding Planning Company in Niagara! Jennie is a certified professional wedding planner through the Wedding Planning Institute of Canada. Jennie also has her Destination Wedding Planner Certification through WPIC. Jennie has been working in the Wedding and Hospitality industry for almost 20 years and has built lasting relationships with many local vendors and venues. Jennie is also the Co-Founder of the Event Professionals of Niagara, a networking and information resource group for Wedding and Event professionals here in Niagara.
Jennie is a Ceremony Officiant ordained within the province of Ontario who can not only assist you with the planning of your ceremony, but can also legally join you together in marriage. She also has her TICO certification which allows her to not only plan your Destination Wedding or Honeymoon but to also suggest, plan and book all of the travel arrangements as well. Now all of the planning and coordinating is done with one person instead of through multiple companies, ensuring seamless execution.
A Divine Affair has won numerous awards and has had many weddings published in magazines and on blogs. In 2013, A Divine Affair won the Wedding Industry Experts Award for the Best New Wedding Planner in Niagara! A Divine Affair was selected to be a part of an exclusive group of worldwide Wedding Professionals and added to the Wedding Industry Experts Honor Roll. A Divine Affair has won the Wedding Industry Experts Award for Most Popular Wedding Planner in Niagara and ranked 3rd in Ontario, 5th in Canada & 7th Worldwide! For many years, we have also won the St. Catharines Standard Readers Choice Award for Best Wedding Planner and Best Event Planner!
A little bit about Jennie
I am married to an incredible man and together we have 3 children and a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy named Tucker.
I love shopping local. I enjoy supporting local artisans and buying from local farms. I enjoy drinking Niagara craft beers and wines. My favourite thing to do is visit our wineries and breweries for a drink or enjoy live music and a bite to eat on a patio.
I drink WAY too much Starbucks.
My favourite foods are Tacos, Nachos, Doughnuts, French Fry Truck French Fries, Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup and Chocolate… Mmmm Godiva Milk Chocolate Truffles.
I am a hockey mom and love spending time at the rink. Don't ask me to play though.. I can't skate! I do yoga and over the past couple of years I have started to play golf! It is so much fun! I might not be very good yet (and honestly probably never will be) but if you ever need a golf buddy, I'm your girl!
I love to travel and really enjoy experiencing new cultures.

Hi my name is Brianne Parsons. I am 30 years old and a mother of two wonderful little boys. I am newly married myself to my longtime love, Kyle.
I have a very happy, bubbly and outgoing personality. Meeting new people is one of my favourite things to do.
I enjoy watching and playing sports. I play hockey and baseball.
I love family and animals. I have a Yorkie named Quila.
I am a big craft beer drinker. Bench Brewing Company is my favourite.
I have always enjoyed organizing parties, functions and other events. I also work in the recreation department planning community events for the Township of West Lincoln.

A little bit about Maddie
Hello there!
My name is Maddie Doherty, I am newly married as of July 2023 to my amazing husband Luke, and we live here in the beautiful Niagara region, with our dog Ace. Born and raised in Toronto, I am a city girl at heart although I am an avid lover of wine country.
Having multiple student summer-jobs in the wine industry, I was introduced to the world of weddings here in Niagara and able to see how these wineries can transform into stunningly beautiful venues!
People are my passion, I love interacting with others and meeting new people, I could never see myself working a desk job. I am also a high school physical education teacher. I love sports (especially volleyball) but also enjoy group fitness classes and pilates. I was also a varsity volleyball player for 5 years.
Like Jennie, I spend way too much money at Starbucks…On the weekends I love ordering sushi or hitting up one of our favourite local breweries for a night out with friends.
I love that no 2 weddings are ever the same and that every wedding day is different. Having recently gotten married & continuously reflecting back on what felt like the most perfect day, I want to be able to create those feelings for other couples. Your day should be all about you, living in the moment, enjoying every second and I can help you do that.
